Scotland's Transport Minister Derek Mackay: 'We'll co-operate with a bridge inquiry'

Scotland's Transport Minister Derek Mackay has told the BBC the government would co-operate with an inquiry into the Forth Road Bridge closure.

He made the pledge during an interview on Scotland 2015.

Mr Mackay pointed out that it would not be up to him to call an inquiry, but it would be up to the parliamentary authorities.

The bridge was closed on Friday after a crack was spotted in the structure.

It is hoped the crossing will be re-opened in the first week of January.
