Scottish independence: Devolution 79 - Margo MacDonald

A debate on devolution was held in the Oxford Union ahead of referendums in Scotland and Wales in 1979. The motion was "this house would urge the people of Scotland and Wales to support the government's devolution proposals". Margo MacDonald, the deputy leader of the SNP at the time, supports the motion.
