Police 'want answers' over girl's murder

Police have launched a murder investigation after the body of a teenage girl was found in Clydebank, West Dunbartonshire.

Paige Doherty, 15, who lived in the town, had not been seen since Saturday morning.

Her body was discovered in a wooded area, just off Great Western Road, at about 12:45 on Monday.

Det Supt Duncan Sloan, of Police Scotland's major investigations unit, said the force would do everything in their power to "get answers".
