Jumping tribesmen and Sufi singers at the Edinburgh Mela

Where would you go in Scotland if you wanted to see a Maasai warrior sharing a cup of tea with a Sufi singer? Your best bet might be the annual Edinburgh Mela, which kicks off this weekend.

Up to 30,000 people are expected to descend on Leith Links for the festival of music, dance and food from around the world.

Head-lining this year are 90s dance legends The Orb, who are playing their only UK set outside of Glastonbury this year.

But after Creative Scotland announced changes to funding, organisers are looking for new ways to secure the festival's future. BBC Scotland's Emma Ailes reports.
