Opera for babies takes on Edinburgh Fringe

Scottish Opera is bidding to win over a younger audience with its latest production at the Edinburgh Fringe.

Bambino is sung in Italian, has a shorter storyline and encourages its viewers to invade the stage and get involved.

Jane Davidson said the company wants opera to be accessible to all children.

Performances at the Edinburgh Academy will be repeated at other festivals around the world.
