Mike Russell calls for Tories to re-examine Brexit plans

The Scottish government's Brexit Minister Mike Russell has called for the Conservative Party to drop their Brexit plans and look again at the SNP's proposals.

Mr Russell also told the BBC's Sunday Politics Scotland programme that Prime Minister Theresa May should resign as the result of the election showed that people did not trust her.

He said that over the past 12 months the Conservative government had brought "nothing but chaos and instability".
