Nicola Sturgeon: 'Blair is stating the obvious'

Nicola Sturgeon has said Tony Blair was "stating the obvious" when he claimed Brexit means there is a more credible case for Scottish independence.

The first minister argued that recent events demonstrated that Scotland's voice "doesn't appear to count for much" within the UK.

Speaking in her Glasgow constituency she said the case for independence was different and more compelling than it was in 2014.
