Commuters warned of further snow and wind

The first widespread snow of the year has led to a warning for commuters of further snow and wind to come.

A section of the M74 was closed due to icy conditions during morning rush hour, causing long tailbacks.

The Met Office has issued several yellow 'be aware' warnings for snow with a risk of drifts on higher routes through to Friday.
