Largs pensioner hears choristers perform her carol

A Largs pensioner has had her Christmas wish come true after a song she wrote was sung by a church choir.

Catherine Murray began writing music after the death of her husband in 2002.

The 82-year-old wrote to the Church of Scotland with the words and music for "Christmas Morning" suggesting it could be sung by "a wee group of children".

Paisley Abbey Choristers then sang her song in front of hundreds of people at a carol service for the Accord Hospice.
