Festival organisers say policing costs threaten viability

Organisers of some of Dumfries and Galloway's biggest music festivals say their survival is under threat because the cost of policing.

Festival organisers say they are being charged more than equivalent events held elsewhere and that they may be forced to close or move.

Police Scotland deny the charge and say they have a common charging policy across the country.
