IndyCamp eviction appeal thrown out by Court of Session

Independence campaigners holding a vigil outside the Scottish Parliament have lost their appeal against eviction.

The Inner House, of the Court of Session, has upheld an earlier ruling that the camp should leave.

The parliament has said it will encourage the campers to leave quickly and peacefully, but it is also seeking an order to have the camp removed.

The campers themselves say parliament's actions are disproportionate and say they have been denied a fair hearing.

BBC Scotland's Steven Godden reports.
