Nato navy vessels reach Aberdeen harbour

Navy vessels on a multinational Nato deployment have been arriving in Aberdeen harbour.

The Norwegian submarine Utsira arrived on Thursday, followed by members of the Standing Nato Mine Counter Measure Group One.

The group has been taking part in an exercise in the North Sea, in what the Ministry of Defence says is a routine operation.

They are expected to stay until Monday.
