Aberdeen hosts its first festival of comedy

Aberdeen's first Festival of Comedy will open on stages across the city.

About 250 local, national and international performers will play for laughs over the next 23 days.

Organiser Naz Hussain hopes the event will help put the city on the comedy circuit alongside Edinburgh and Glasgow.

BBC Scotland's Fiona Stalker found herself giggling when she went to find out more.
