Scottish government: 'Schools should be safe places'

The Scottish government has said it will consider the recommendations and conclusions of an official report into the fatal stabbing of Bailey Gwynne.

The schoolboy died during a fight with another pupil at Aberdeen's Cults Academy in October 2015.

Justice Secretary Michael Matheson told the BBC that "schools should be safe places for young people".
