Technology brings music to life in Ayrshire

A group of musicians with disabilities have been using technology to compose a piece of music that will be performed at a festival in Ayrshire.

Tablet computers are used to create sounds triggered by movement.

They will join world famous musicians including violinist Nicola Benedetti.

Drake Music Scotland, which helps disabled people in Scotland to create and enjoy music, led the project at the Cumnock Tryst festival.

The BBC's Scotland correspondent Lorna Gordon reports.
