Scotland leads UK in tackling climate change says committee

Scotland is ahead of the rest of the UK in tackling greenhouse gas emissions, a new report says.

Greenhouse gas emissions in Scotland fell further than the rest of the UK in 2014.

The Committee on Climate Change concluded that the reduction was largely down to the relatively warm winter weather and found that schemes in some areas were "largely failing to deliver."

BBC Scotland's environment correspondent Kevin Keane reports from Aberdeen.
