Slum housing operated by 'rogue' Govanhill landlords

An investigation by BBC Scotland has revealed that some of the most vulnerable people in Scotland are being exploited by so-called rogue landlords in the midst of the first minister's constituency.

A number of de-registered landlords are continuing to operate in the Govanhill area of Glasgow despite being officially struck off.

Annie MacFarlane, from Govanhill Housing Association, told BBC Scotland's Lucy Adams that a rise in privately rented accommodation has led to worsening conditions as several landlords neglect their properties.
