EU Referendum: Scotland at odds with overall UK EU vote

Scotland has voted emphatically in favour of remaining in the EU in contrast to the UK vote to leave.

Tom Harris, director of Scottish Vote Leave, said this is a democratic process and Scotland has to get behind the decision.

The SNP's Westminster leader, Angus Robertson, said there are many people who are not happy at leaving the EU against their will.

BBC Scotland political editor Brian Taylor watched the result unfold through the historic night.
