Rail passengers face disruption during the first day of planned strikes

Rail passengers have been dealing with disruption during the first day of a series of planned strikes by the RMT union.

Talks between the union and ScotRail, on the role of guards on trains, broke down at ACAS on Monday.

Commuters have been urged to make alternative arrangements.
