Third osprey chick hatches near Dunkeld

The third osprey chick of the season has hatched in the Loch of the Lowes nature reserve.

Footage shows all three chicks being fed by their parents in the nest near Dunkeld.

The nesting ospreys have continued to bring back salmon and trout to feed their growing brood.

The chick, which hatched on Monday, is the 81st egg to hatch at the reserve since the osprey protection programme began in 1969.
