Nicola Sturgeon reshapes cabinet posts

The first minister has announced plans to reshape the Scottish government to place renewed focus on the economy.

Nicola Sturgeon said that John Swinney's existing role will be divided to create one cabinet secretary in charge of the economy and another for finance.

With new powers to coming to Holyrood, she said the time was right to make changes.

BBC Scotland political editor Brian Taylor was at the briefing in Edinburgh.
