Snow set to sweep south across Scotland

The Met Office has issued a yellow "be aware" weather warning for snow for much of Scotland.

Central Scotland, Fife, the Highlands and Islands, Strathclyde, Tayside, Dumfries, Galloway, and the Lothians and Borders can expect snow and low temperatures.

Driving conditions could be difficult and disruption to transport is possible.

The warnings are in place until Friday afternoon for some areas.
