Work has begun on the £4.5bn Maersk Oil gas project

Work has started on platforms to exploit the biggest gas discovery in the North Sea for more than a decade.

But the construction work for the £4.5bn Culzean project is being carried out in Singapore even though tax breaks from the UK government have made it economically viable.

BBC Scotland's Kevin Keane reports from Singapore.
