Edinburgh Airport has been marking its 100th anniversary since flights began.

The site began as a Royal Flying Corps aerodrome in 1916, was later renamed RAF Turnhouse and became a civilian airport in 1947.

During its first year of commercial operation it had 7,000 passengers and reached more than 11m in 2015.

Archive footage from a family holiday in 1965 was filmed by a then 11-year-old Raymond Gore using his brother Robin's 8mm cine camera.
