Kate's tennis practice with Judy Murray

The Duchess of Cambridge has been showing off her tennis skills during a practice session with Judy Murray.

Pupils at Craigmount High School, in Edinburgh, joined in the lesson which focused on foundation skills such as hand-to-eye co-ordination and how to balance and spin a racket.

The Countess of Strathearn, who has been seen in the royal box at Wimbledon, was keen to help tutor the younger players.

Judy Murray set up the Tennis on the Road project to develop coaches across Scotland.

The duchess had earlier visited two other school-based charity projects in the capital.
