Kate's sing-a-long at Edinburgh primary school

The Duchess of Cambridge has joined children at an Edinburgh school in a sing-a-long during a special school assembly for the royal visitor.

St Catherine's Primary School has councillors from children's mental health charity Place2Be to support pupils who have experienced bereavement, domestic abuse or a family breakdown.

Children presented charity patron Kate - who is known as The Countess of Strathearn in Scotland - with a quaich, a Scottish toasting cup.

The duchess is due to visit two other school-based charity projects in the capital.
