Police Scotland's road accidents compensation revealed

A BBC investigation has found that Police Scotland handed out more than £350,000 in compensation for road accidents involving its officers.

Motor liability claims accounted for more than half of the £633,000 the police force has paid out in damages over the last three years.

Payouts have been made for a range of incidents including where police vehicles have hit a pedestrian, cyclists, parked cars, and walls.

BBC Scotland's Suzanne Allan has been speaking to one woman still waiting to have her claim settled.
