Flood water forces Inverurie residents to evacuate

Dozens of people have been evacuated from their homes in Aberdeenshire after the River Don burst its banks.

One of the worst affected areas was Port Elphinstone near Inverurie.

First Minister Nicola Sturgeon has said she will visit north east Scotland on Saturday to set out details of Scottish government help for those affected by flooding.

BBC Scotland's Craig Anderson reports from Inverurie.
