Oldest theatre in Scotland reopens after refit

Scotland's oldest working theatre will reopen after a two-year £2m refurbishment.

In its 223-year history, the Theatre Royal in Dumfries has been frequented by the likes of Robert Burns and JM Barrie.

They would hardly recognise the building that will be unveiled when the curtain goes up on the Christmas pantomime.

BBC Scotland's Willie Johnston reports.
