Killer son's phone call to report his mother as missing

A recording of Ross Taggart's phone call to police, reporting his mother as missing, shortly after he had murdered her.

Taggart strangled his mother Carol on the 21 or 22 December after an argument and hid her body beneath a caravan in Fife.

The call was made on 23 December, when Taggart can clearly be heard telling the call handler that he last saw her on the Monday morning: "She even told the doctor that 'she didn't want to be here any more'."
