Carol Taggart's daughter 'devastated' by brother's actions
A woman, whose brother killed their mother, has spoken of the devastation the family feel over her death.
Ross Taggart strangled his mother Carol and hid her body beneath a caravan in Fife.
Speaking outside the High Court in Edinburgh, Lorraine Taggart said: "As a family we will try to move forward. However, even given today's outcome, we shall never get over my mum Carol's death.
"We will simply get further away from the event."
Ross Taggart has been sentenced to life in prison and ordered to serve at least 18 years after being found guilty of her murder.
