Has air travel improved for passengers with a disability?

A Civil Aviation Authority survey on attitudes to air travel has found that, among people who rarely fly, those with a disability are 13% less likely to board a plane caused by fear that they may not get the help they need.

Following complaints from disabled passengers about airlines and airports across Europe, the EU took action 10 years ago and brought in legislation designed to make flying more accessible.

BBC Scotland's Ian Hamilton, who is blind, went to Glasgow airport to experience how travellers with a disability are being supported.
