Highland Council pledge to improve mental health service

Some people in the Highlands with mental health problems have been waiting up to three years and a half years for assessments.

Support groups say the situation is unacceptable and poses a danger to already vulnerable adults.

Highland Council has pledged to improve the service, which it says, is dealing with increased demand.
