Glasgow drivers face new bus gate fines

There have been calls to scrap a controversial new bus gate in the centre of Glasgow.

So many drivers are missing warning signs or ignoring them that Glasgow city council has already received hundreds of thousands of pounds in penalty charges.

Are local authorities nationwide using bus gates and bus lane fines to generate income for tight budgets?
