Glasgow School of Art blaze: Fire crews at the scene

A major blaze has broken out at the A-listed Glasgow School of Art, one of Scotland's most iconic buildings.

Footage showed flames licking the historic roof, which was designed by Scotland's most influential architect and designer, Charles Rennie Mackintosh.

Chief Fire Officer Alasdair Hay told reporters he was confident that no one was trapped inside the Mackintosh building.
