Cove fishermen given two weeks' notice by land owner

Fishermen in the village of Cove have been given two weeks to remove their boats from the harbour.

The owner of the Cove shore, on the outskirts of Aberdeen, has said he wants to improve the land where the vessels are moored.

Local fisherman Ewen Adam said: "We wouldn't be a village without the harbour I suppose, that's the whole reason Cove Bay exists.

"It's purely because of this fishing community and it would be such a shame for one individual to take that away from us".

BBC Scotland's Rachel Massie reports.
