Police link Crookston murder and carjacking attempt

Detectives investigating the murder of a 51-year-old woman in Glasgow have said they now believe it is linked to an attack on a man at a nearby shop two hours earlier.

Isabelle Sanders died after being attacked by an intruder at her home in the Crookston area in the early hours of Wednesday morning.

Her 85-year-old partner was seriously injured.

Det Supt Kerr, of Police Scotland, said he believes the suspect stabbed a man in an earlier attack outside a nearby Spar store. Police have appealed for the public to get in touch with information.
