Strathclyde murder mystery course based on real-life CSI
A new MOOC (massive open online course) based around a murder mystery will give the public a glimpse of the workings of forensic science.
The free course, which has been developed by Strathclyde University, is open to anyone with a computer, smartphone or tablet.
Can you solve the murder by the loch? You have six weeks to do it, using the techniques of forensic science.
BBC Scotland's science correspondent Kenneth Macdonald has been dusting the crime scene for prints.
