Seven airlifted from flooded farm

A Royal Navy rescue helicopter has airlifted seven people, including four children, from a flooded farm in Dumfries and Galloway.

The seven had been trapped for about six hours at Nithside Farm near Closeburn.

Torrential rain left many parts of Scotland flooded and more rain is forecast for Tuesday.

Police in Dumfries and Galloway warned drivers not to travel unless it was "absolutely necessary".

Clive Myrie describes what happened.
