Scottish independence: Debate on the future of the monarchy

Presenter Glenn Campbell hosted a special BBC Newsnight Scotland debate on the Royal family's future relationship with Scotland ahead of the independence referendum next year.

The panel was made up of Scottish Conservative MSP Jackson Carlaw; SNP MSP Christine Grahame; Labour activist Vince Mills; independence supporter Michael Fry and Edinburgh University historian Dr Jenny Wormald.

The programme was recorded and screened in Glasgow on Monday, 29 July, 2013.
