Scottish independence: One year to go to the referendum

It is one year to the day until the people of Scotland vote in the independence referendum on 18 September 2014.

First Minister Alex Salmond says the vote will be an opportunity to create a more just and prosperous society.

Scottish Secretary Michael Moore says a yes vote would lead to the country being "downsized".

BBC Scotland's political correspondent Tim Reid reports from Edinburgh.
