Son charged with Edinburgh shallow grave mother's murder

A man from Edinburgh has been charged with murdering his mother whose body was found in a shallow grave in June.

Phyllis Dunleavy, who was from Dublin, had been visiting her son in Scotland.

The 66-year-olds dismembered remains were discovered by a cyclist on Corstorphine Hill on 6 June.

James Andrew Dunleavy, who is 39 years old, is expected to appear at the city's Sheriff Court later.
