Pupils teach Dumfries pensioners IT skills

A new approach to the health and welfare of Scotland's older people has been launched in Dumfries and Galloway.

About 1,000 USB memory sticks have been distributed to senior citizens in the area.

They are pre-loaded with key information and web links on safety, health and money matters.

Children from local schools are helping with technical support for those who are less computer literate.
