Brexit ministers may find 'answers which escaped me' - Lord Heseltine

Conservative Lord Heseltine has outlined his thoughts about future trade agreements, during questioning by the Business Committee.

In an apparently sarcastic comment, former president of the Board of Trade Lord Heseltine referred to the "brilliant set of appointments" of Brexit ministers who will "come up with answers which have escaped me".

His description prompted some laughter on the committee.

Conservative MP Richard Fuller, who was questioning him, stressed it was an important issue "given the public have voted for us to leave the EU".
