Hammond: We want maximum access to EU markets

Chancellor Philip Hammond tells the BBC it is government policy that British firms should have "maximum access" to EU markets amid a Conservative row over the scale of change after Brexit.

He was responding to criticism of remarks he made on Thursday suggesting there would only be "very modest" changes in UK-EU trade relations after March 2019.
