US trade deals are 'purely speculative'

Theresa May will become the first foreign leader to visit US President Donald Trump at the White House, in a meeting she hopes will help renew the special relationship between Britain and America.

Anthony Gardner, former US ambassador to the EU, tells the Today programme that US trade deals can be discussed but cannot be negotiated.
