MP 'received a letter saying they want to butcher me'

More than half the women MPs who responded to a BBC 5 live survey say they have received a physical threat from a member of the public or been subjected to online or verbal abuse.

A third of those who took part in the poll said they had considered giving up their job.

Labour MP Tulip Siddiq and SNP MP Anne McLaughlin describe the abuse they have suffered from members of the public.
