Is Brexit plan approval a blank cheque?

Iain Duncan Smith says the Brexit parliamentary vote means Labour has given a green light to a government road map for Brexit.

On the Today programme he defends his characterisation of the parliamentary debate as a "blank cheque" to the government which was not about scrutinising details but approval for the government to "get on with it" and trigger Article 50 in March.
