Stop the War reject Johnson protest call

The vice chair of the Stop the War coalition has said "a protest outside the embassy wouldn't make a blind bit of difference to what Putin does".

It comes after foreign secretary Boris Johnson called for anti-war demonstrations outside the Russian embassy, saying: "Where is the Stop The War coalition at the moment? Where are they?"

Chris Nineham told Radio 4's Today programme "we do not want to contribute to the jingoism and hysteria that is being whipped up against Russia".
