Amber Rudd: Andrea Leadsom doesn't have the experience

The Secretary of State for Energy and Climate, Amber Rudd, has cast doubt on whether her junior colleague, Andrea Leadsom, has the experience required to become prime minister.

Mrs Leadsom is now in a direct race with the Home Secretary, Theresa May, to take over from David Cameron.

Conservative members will decide the winning candidate, with the result due on 9 September.
